Happy WOYWW to all – once again I am knitting on a Wednesday, and next week too, as my mate had a conflict on Tuesday this week and I do next week. Bah! So we have a couple of messy desks, but actually sort of in reverse. As I mentioned yesterday, my main desk was quite tidy
with only a few thing hanging about – like this set of gel pens my daughter decided she didn’t want to use, and didn’t want them cluttering up her space so she announced I should have them cause she knew I needed them.
I’m sure I can find a use for them… Also my junk journal. It’s getting used, not every day, but more often than it was over the summer. Lots, maybe even all, of the tuck spots are full and I am down to writing on the backgrounds or adding tip-ins.
The other desk is a bit of a mess:
It is littered with ATCs and coins and stuff that needs sorting out. Problem is, that sort of spilled over across the room to my MAIN desk so that looks like this as I schedule the post Tuesday night!
Literally as I was creating this post, I got some news I was waiting for so I hope I can share something soon.
So just the cards. An easy one this week!
I don’t watch sports, really so if I had to limit myself to only watching the Browns or not watching sports at all I could live with that. I suspect you would have to think long and hard about what sort of business could be successful with only swans, talking or otherwise, as employees….

ah yes, companies and talking swans!!! First I thought of the serene top and manic under then the squawk of them (unless they are mute swans that is!!). Loving that your DD is passing on her stash to you 🙂

A messy desk is always more interesting than a clean desk, if you ask me, although a clean desk is more inviting. Hey, who wouldn’t want more gel pens? Even if you almost never use them (like I do), I still find them irresistible! Can’t help it! Super junk journal! I’ve also scrolled down your previous blog posts – your ATC’s are so inspiring! Gel pens are always useful especially in colouring images on back on vellum and such I mainly use them.. and specially adding details. Brilliant junk journal too,

Gel pens now there’s a thing! I have some of them somewhere and don’t think I’ve ever used them so hope you give me some good ideas! or they will be another thing that’s needs to be disposed of. Talking swans it is for me, lol! Love those gel pe colours, so in your face – I’ve used my metallic gels more since I tool up watercolour doodling than in the previous few years. In fact, I’ve nearly worn them out so may have to get some more )oh dear, what a shame..!). Enjoy your knitting session!

I could actually live without sports tv, so it’s the Cleveland Browns for me too! I love the sight of your desks, messy or not, always colour which is good for my eyes. The gel pen thing I totally get, but be sure to put them somewhere you remember, your DD may well want to use them now they aren’t in her way! Looking forward to hearing your news!

It looks like you have a lot of fun with your junk journal. Good of your daughter to pass on her gel pens.
Run a business with talking swans?? We visited the Swannery at Abbotsbury when we were in Dorset 2 years ago. They have about 600 mute swans. They could say “feed me” well enough 😀.but perhaps talking swans could tell us more?
