Pretty CD – old school, but blank

OK so someone commented they preferred the older version of the Pretty CD calendar, which is fair enough, everyone has their own sense of style.  But I was just tired of the same old thing after 4 or 5 years of working with it.  I suppose if I was charging people for the files I would have to listen to the market but I’m not, so I don’t.  {smile}

But I am always happy to compromise.  This is it:

Basically, it is just the hard part, the framing circle with the month name. How is THAT helpful?  Well, two ways. If you have any editing skills at all, you can grab a free calendar for whatever year you need from an online source and paste the months into the frames digitally.  But easier, and more likely to be something ANYONE can do, is you can buy one of the little calendars from a craft store and glue it into the center.

You could scan a calendar and resize it digitally then print it.  That also means you could use a Monday to Sunday arrangement if you prefer it.

For a more labour intensive version, what about printing 31 of the January page and adding the numbers 1 to 31 in the big empty centre?  Or masking and decorating in the middle then adding a number over that? Then do the same for each month….

You could crop the page digitally then print each of the two month blocks full-page size and do any of the above on a bigger scale.

Sure, none of that is as easy as just printing the sheets, but it does leave much more room for your OWN creativity to take over.

You can download the blank version here.

I hope if you DO do something super interesting with it you’ll share.
