Happy WOYWW. Let’s see – Wednesday so I am off at the replacement window showroom. Fun. My desk is not super inspiring but there are a few things worth noting.

Lots of debris from recent knitting. Very happy with the little iCord cranker. Unlike the rubbish PRYM one, this one works like a dream, and although it was very cheap, it was the branded Embellish-Knit one. The little clamp was apart but it was easy enough to fix.

The other debris is from an envelope I found in with my fodder stash. I think I had started down the route of making a set of ATCs with quotes from 1984 and some slightly dystopian images then shelved them for some reason.

I was collecting up more stuff that I could add to my art journal, and now am wondering if these bits might find a home there.
Back to the IYHT… cards this week:

Humm. Meatballs raining down on you at least means you are sure to be fed, but they could be a bit painful LOL! So yeah, tell all the kids Santa isn’t real…and expect their parents will tell them I’m lying so no harm, no foul!
Just found out someone I was in close contact with has Covid so I’ll be testing for a few days and hoping for the best. It’s been a bit since dose FOUR and I have a blood test scheduled for Thursday and an appointment with the consultant next week. Test yesterday was negative and if I was exposed it would have been last Friday so fingers crossed…..

Hope the tests are clear for you. I am not hundred percent sure but I think that little machine knits those tube things. Look forward to seeing how you use up those left-overs too. wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs, Angela x13x

Hope those tests come back negative! 4 jabs? we haven’t come that far yet, the government hasn’t approved a fourth one yet here. We had a short scare last week when my hubby was supposed to drive to Toronto to pick me up and take me home, but I had to catch the train instead because he had been exposed to Covid. But he’s fine, but had to miss seeing his Granddaughter. I think those bits and pieces and words would go great in an art journal! And I would choose telling kids about Santa too, bit of course I would phrase it in a way that they would be still wondering if I was actually telling the truth! Have a great week, may all your tests be negative! Lindart #18

Hope tests reveal a negative result for you.
No idea what the cranker is for or what it does.
Great atc’s – amd sure you will use the words up pretty easily
Santa or meatballs – I would endure the meat balls, couldn’t take the look on a child’s face if i said something like that.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Hope you continue to test negative.
I was interested by the contraption…
I think those 1984 ATCs would have been brilliant!
Happy WOYWW!

Hi Mary Anne. Trust the tests continue to be negative! Especially as you have been so very careful over the past months!! That yarn winder looks like a bit of fun to use… Enjoy it. Hope you find a use for all those little pieces you discovered.
Take care. God bless.

Hope the tests continue negative. It is always fun when you find things for journal pages/ATCs that you had forgotten about – I can foresee some interesting pages with those. Happy WOYWW. Take care, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#12)

Hi Mary Anne, thatโs a strange looking device, but if it works thatโs great. Still having trouble with my Nuevo art, any advice appreciated. Those choices are both awful which I guess is the whole point. I think I will choose the first and close my eyes if any children come along! Happy WOYWW. Angela #4

Neuro art? Humm. What sort of problems? Really, if you google it the range and variety of what you will see is staggering so I am pretty sure anything you do is probably absolutely fine! I would say go slow and round, round, round. Oh yeah and have a good pen! I am not a fan of the Sharpies for this, I prefer the Micron ones or similar – even a ball point pen, like the sample from my recent art journal page. I would also say the more you do the better they look! I hope you share one – cause I am sure they are better than you think ๐

Hope the tests continue negative – we’ve had a few cases at work too, including one person in the same building so just waiting my latest test. No jab 4 here, so fingers crossed! Take care and stay safe. Helen #3

Keeping everything crossed that you continue testing negative Mary Anne. The unfinished ATCs would make a great journal page methinks. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #1
