Happy WOYWW day! Well, things have progressed for me in my Grand Tidy and I am very happy with the progress. I have a huge pile of stuff to donate to the local craft club, a large box of goodies earmarked for a WOYWW mate who I just hope will make use of them, and a full recycling bin plus a large trash bag of true rubbish. Letting go of things like the old Decorator Chalks (remember them?) and rubbish oil pastels bought in error (NOT water soluble) and lots of sun-faded or creased cardstock was…liberating. Sure, my room is still stuffed to the brim with goodies, but now they are all things that I can only hope to live long enough to use up LOL! My desks are mostly clean:

Even my “messy” desk is tidy:

I really am doing my “card a day” plan and I made a warm-up card to share soon. This is NOT a 100 Days project, just something to do every day to help use stuff up. I got no mail yesterday for some reason, so just the ATCs received last week to show.

All so gorgeous. I love Neet’s little house shaped envelope, and Zsuzsa’s envelope went right into my collage fodder bin because it was stunning. I am housing them in my ATC folder for now, till I can make another hanger for them.
At this point, while I am NOT giving up on the tidy, I am planning to attack the paper a little bit each day. This is not all of it, but it’s the bulk. I have a few bins of scraps and of grouped papers (like Basic Grey, Rouge de Garance, and Bizous Zoo, three of my most favourite lines) and way too much Club Scrap cardstock, which I will incorporate into the general cardstock units

To be honest, I have SO MANY empty drawer units and containers, I need to find someplace else to either use them or store them. No point taking up space with them. So, that’s me finished – except the 100 days project re-cap:
And the one from today – pretty much sums up how I am feeling about the 100 days!

If you recall, I am running a few days ahead. I will add 98 tomorrow then add 99 and 100 on the last day – Friday seems a good day to end on. Frankly, I cannot wait to be done!!
Happy desk-hopping!!

Hi MaryAnne you have done so well with your clear out!! Well done. Again thank you so much for the ATC and postcard, just love these little treasures – I do miss the days when I was trading all the time and receiving things nearly every day (although I do admit the quality was variable!!). I kept te envelope as well – what are we like? Thanks for your visit. Have a good week, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindyxx #23

I would have canned the 100 days, so I am admiring of your staying power, and that you worked out how to do it without cramming the book into a wedge shape. I see from your next post that it didn’t use up as many scraps as you thought it would, let me warn you of something similar in the card making thing. I just don’t know where they all come from! having said that, the cards do use up more and are such a useful asset to have at hand!

Hi Mary Anne – what gorgeous ATC’s and such a clean space – Just a note on Wish – I check the specified delivery date – wait 5 days and follow up with them – you can only get a refund within 30 days of their specified delivery date. I learn this the hard way and am vigilant with it now as quite a few don’t arrive. – Have a lovely week – Cheers Maurs xxx #38

Evening Mary Anne! I’ve had a lovely time playing with a 10 month old puppy and have only just started my hop around WOWERS. blogs. I love your collections of ATC’s I only have a few out from past swaps, it would be nice to have them ALL out. Must hunt out an album for them or make something, as you have! Your 100 days is nearly coming to an end. Have you a favourite page!? I’ve been hunting for address’s and have just sent an email for yours…BUT arrrrggh! Lock me up and throw away the key, I’ve just picked your envelope up, wondering what I could do with it, (keep it in my keep box…which is where I found the TV remotes, I’ve been hunting for and Carlo’s stickers! and your address was looking up at me as if to say, silly moo! ! So, delete the email! Stay safe. Happy WoYww!? ((Lyn))#9

Liberating indeed! It must feel good to get rid of some much and have clear space in which to work. I am attempting something similar but it’s taking a long time so there is mess everywhere. Happy WOYWW! Elle #35 this week

Hmmm… I did wonder if I might have trouble posting on yours with my iPad. I left a comment but I don’t see it so I’m not sure if it’s still thinking!!

Your 100 day journal entries are lovely, but for me the ATC folder is amazing! Where did you get the folder from? It is such an unusual size and such a good idea for the ATCs. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe, with love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#22)

Lots of interesting shots of your room, Mary Anne, and what a great collection of ATCs! Well done with the daily journal, too. Thank you for your visit and I’m glad you like the finished result with my hubby completing the picture. Thanks for your good wishes for the result of my biopsy – and thank Lynne of Lynnecrafts for the cartoon – I couldn’t resist it and had to take it in!
Happy WOYWW,

I love a good tidy and toss! I havent bought anything except a stray ink pad in years. I have enough to last a lifetime, even if I make a card a day! Robyn 29

Wow, I just love your ATC folder – what a beautiful cover. Well done on the tidying – I love that feeling of satisfaction when a little bit of space is made in the craft room!
Hope you have good week,

Fabulous ATC’s you have received. Where did you get your ATC folder from? I wondered if you would use some of your 100 day collages for something else? Happy WOYWW Angela #12

Liberating is exactly what it is! I need a good tidy-up/sorting as well, but I keep putting it off. Love your ATC book and it even has the ability to store landscape oriented cards! Yay for the 100-day project – you’re almost there! You’re probably asking yourself – why on earth did I do this LOL? For me it was getting out of a creative rut, but really I got out of it by day 21 haha! I think the key to this is doing something very very quick and simple each day – if we are ever going to do it again. I’m not saying I will or I won’t – just keeping my options open! Happy #625! xx zsuzsa #26

I’m so impressed at you keeping up with the 100 Day journal, I wouldn’t dare start something like that as I know I wouldn’t finish it so well done. Loving the ATC collection and many thanks for the one you sent me too. Hope you have a lovely creative woyww, Angela x19x

I think a proper declutter can be so cathartic, it really does you good. I’m not a hoarder, never have been, but even I enjoy a good sort out and repurpose of my stash! Your desk is looking great and you know where everything is – woohooo! Hope you find someone to take the storage stuff, that’s too good not to be used. And well done for sticking out to the end of the 100 days, I wouldn’t have lasted beyond 6…lolol!!

I got sidetracked reading your blog and the possibility of junk journals. I also liked that you had so many empty containers. Those tiny round ones would come in handy for beads and such. I remember when your desk was always cluttered and now look at it. You got some great ATCs, too. I am not a scrapbooker, but I like Basic Gray, 7 Gypsies, and Graphic 45 papers. Haven’t heard of the others you mentioned. Happy WOYWW from # 3.

Well done on the empty drawer units and containers, shows how good you have been with the tidying.. Your main desk looks ever so organised now – everything to hand. The 100 day project is going well and you arke producing some lovely pages.
Thank you for my atc, much appreciated and I loved the little view postcard you sent with it.
Here’s to another good WOYWW year

Well done for persevering with the 100 days project even though you are bored with it now Mary Anne. Such a lovely collection of ATCs and the folder cover is stunning. Your craft area looks so tidy and oeganised now – well worth all the tidying. Good luck sorting the papers. Happy WOYWW. Stay safe. Sarah #2
