Hello WOYWWers. Desk back in a state, but I am using those organized stamps already, now I can actually find them! Woo Hoo.
I’m working on some cards, in an effort to explain a method I use to make scrap cards (ie cards from scraps) so will be working on them today. Here are the sets of things I have set aside:
I hope I will be able to share in a clear way what I do!
Now, having tamed my stamps, my ribbons, and my stickers, I need to get my cardmaking things sorted and finish up with my pile o’ scraps. And desk hop of course! See you at yours…..

I’m a little late in doing my WOYWW rounds, but in this case so glad I did. Love seeing your organization for the paper packs…it all looks, and sounds so familiar. Well except for the being organized part. I mean I have big ole’ alligator clips on them, but with no idea which paper it was. I’ll be adopting your idea – thank you very much. I like your idea with the gelli plates, I’ve been looking at my “rubbing” plates and wondering if braying colors on them and then flipping them over will work….now I’m going to have to try it!!

Your desk looks like the true product of a someone at work! I also like the mini-kits you have going on there from scraps. I’ve been trying to get something going with my own scraps.
Have a great day,

I love the way you stash the scraps in an order that means you can just pull and begin..it makes so much sense really. I also freakin’ love the tags you shared yesterday. Of course, I don’t do PL..but it never stopped me..!

There is nothing more satisfying than making a card from left over scraps, I often challenge myself if I have a pile of random bits on my desk. Hope you manage to organise your space to match your stamps 😛

It is always great to find ways to use our scraps, I like cutting some of them into strips and then putting them together for ATCs or collaging them together and making card backgrounds or ATCs. #83

I’ve just scrolled back a few posts and it isn’t just your stamps you’ve organised, it’s everything! Using up scraps of paper was how I got into cardmaking. After making a scrap page, there is nothing more satisfying than making something from the leftovers 🙂 Look forward to seeing what you make with yours. Happy WOYWW, Elizabeth x #71

Organizing my stamps helped me a lot too as my desk always gets totally chaotic during crafting… love your desk, as it speaks of this wonderful state where you just “grab and do” whatever comes to your mind at the very moment.
Enjoy your WW!

It is lovely to hear that there are still some people that make cards from old cards and scrap cards, it is a good place for anyone new to card making to start and a lot cheaper. Thank you for sharing your desk

There really is no better feeling than the one just after you have organised all your stash. Such a pity it never lasts long for me. Those scraps look like they could turn into some gorgeous cards.

YAY! on getting your stamps organized!!! It’s a wonderful feeling, isn’t it?!?!? I just finished the latest re-organization of my room yesterday. Is it just me, or do you have to just sit there and enjoy the accomplishment for a moment?? LOL!! Enjoy your card making!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You won my blog candy from last week, a Nativity Magnolia stamp! Please email me your mailing address so I can pop it in the mail for you! (j_kupsh@yahoo.com)

LOL! must be my week! I bought a scratch card on a whim and won £40. I will email you but I know that stamp will be totally wasted on me 🙂 The only Tilda I have ever used was a stamped one someone sent me when I bought some 2nd hand Copics – and I ended up cutting off her head and skewering it on a kebab skewer 😀 (you can see that here https://scrappystickyinkymess.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/cute.jpg?w=640 ) I would rather you drew again and give someone who will actually use it a chance to win. It’s not that I am ungrateful, it’s just that I now I would never use it and there will be someone out there who is dying to get it 🙂
Thanks for doing the blog candy.
Cheers – and BTW OMG your organization of your craft room is OUTSTANDING!!
