I had high hopes for the last crop – a rare 9 to 9 event – as I had something I wanted to work on, glimpse on my WOYWW last week, that I knew would take some considerable amount of time and wasn’t something I wanted to leave laying around the house. I managed it, although it took most of the day, and there was a fair amount of cursing. Can’t share it yet as DH will not NOT read this blog and it is something quite special in prep for our big 25th anniversary upcoming. That will niggle at him, but he’ll just have to wait!
Once I finished THAT, I only had a little bit of time left to get anything else done – I made a couple of layouts and took a short rip to a local to the crop craft shop. On a whim I grabbed a set of Marianne Creatables, that included a lovely swirl. I find them quite irritating to tease out of the die, but they do look lovely and are slightly embossed not flat – you can see them in the layout below.
The colour is a bi off but you get the idea. There will be journaling across the two tags. I remember taking these photos, dashing around the kids to get both views of their spontaneous hug, out in the cold. So sweet. Love the KI Memories strips (the little birds) and they more or less match the striped paper that must be 6 or more years old (also KI!)
