I’m back!

Hello to you all and sorry about the long gap between posts.  Now the festive season is over (and once DSs 18th is done and the kids are back in school) it should get a lot easier.  I have one little video that will appear sometime this week and more stuff that I have had in my head for a while that needs to get made.

BUT it is now 2011 (amazing!) so I thought I would kick off with some calendar info, if you didn’t get one made before the turn of the year. Lots of links for you to explore.

The first is an interesting fact – the 1910 calendar is the same as the 2011 one!  I found this out at Deze is ook leuk! They have a link to an antique calendar digital image from Crafty Secrets. It’s cute!

There is a single page, but not high quality, 1910 calendar here.

The About.com Rubber Stamping group has a bunch of links to printable 2011 templates here, in many different styles.

Melissa Samules has a tutorial for a pocket/purse calendar with downloads.

Andrea Gourley has a very neat tutorial for making a calendar (love the pockets for important papers on this one!) using a kit from NitWit Collections but you can use the tutorial even without the kit.

Another cute idea by SuzyQscraps – again there is a kit but the basic tag-calendar idea is easy to recreate. The whole post has a lot of good stuff to tempt you.

You can grab some free calendar brushes at Get Brushed.  There are 12 in the set!

Nicola Lee, a photographer, created a UK-specific set which you can download free here.

Another one to buy, but I quite like the month-in-a-circle. From DigitalScrapbookPages.

There are 1000s more but these few will get you started 🙂

Happy New Year to everyone.
