Hello WOYWW-ers! I do NOT know how it happens, but my tidy-up form last week didn’t last anywhere as long as I hoped. See where I craft? That little area of calm amidst the chaos?
That is because me desk looks like this!
DOH! But then I had another brief tidy-up so I could get out a layout I started at the crop on Saturday and want to finish! You can also see my recent Amazon arrival, Photo JoJo. Not even had a moment to flip thru it, but it looked promising enough to buy a used copy.
Oh, and I did carry thru with another thing I made mention of – getting the Cricut off the shelf and installed in a way I can use it whenever I want to. That whole thing was more of a pain than I anticipated, due to a broken plug in the power strip, so that needed replacing too, which meant taking down ALLLLL the equipment to change it. But look! It’s like it was always meant to be there!
So now it’s time to pop round yours for a bit of inspiration!

Mary-anne, your desk looks great, Hugs Rita xx
Gosh you have been a busy girl… lots going on… Have a great week, Hugs May x x x#8
You have been busy. Do you have enough space behind the cricut for the mat to go through? Wonderful papers for the layout.
Love your very busy desk and work floor too!! LOL

Now thatis some creating!! Love it…that’s what my floor looks like when I am in the zone! Trace. X 58
I’ve been known to work on the floor or the coffee table when my stuff overwhelms me too.
Your desk looks like it belongs to me. Mine is just a bit worse. I must say that I use my Cricut much more since it is plugged in and ready to use whenever I need it.

Fab working space, Happy crafting jill #77
Good bit of re-organising there, even if you did have a bit of finnagling to do. It#s worth it to have your bit of kit ready to use at any time!!
Hugs, LLJ #75 xx
Thats a big space to work in if you ask me! Like the cricut in a usable place since I have moved out of my craft room into the dining room my craft robo has been shoved in a drawer and only used once! oh well. Let us know if the photography book is any good. Thanks for sharing – Sunshine Girl No. 68
Wires and leads are such a pain…. hope you get to read your book soon. Helen 5
Looks like some serious work goes on in there if you need floor space too lol…. I found I use my cricut more now it has a plce of its own rather than being pulled out each time i needed it. I love seeing pics of the rest of your space too.

It wouldn’t occur to me to use the floor., comfort being a priority! and gosh I’d be too afraid of losing the loose nesties, have already thrown one away in error. You’re right, the Cricut looks long installed…lets hope you make it worth all that effort!!
Hi Mary Ann – You were so right to get your cricut set up to use. It may have been a pain but I am sure you will reap the benefit. I always find the stuff I have set up around me I use the stuff that is put away is long forgotten! Have fun and Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 102
You have a achieved a lot in the reorganising of your essentials. Hope the books turns out be full of great hints for pics.

I know what you mean about gadgets needing to be at hand …I dont use my Big Shot enough as i have to dig it out . xx#8
You’ve been busy – I see a mirror image of my craft room there at the moment! – I even have one of those wee fold up desks like yours – I can use it when I run out of spce on my main desk! I put my Cricut on a pull out shelf thing – you do make a lot more use of it when its ready to go.

isn’t it amazing how quickly out craft rooms can go from clean to chaos? Happy woyww-Lindsay 28
Boy, the desk and the floor for workspace! hehe. I may not work on the floor….but boy of boy…I have a mess and a half going on down there that no one sees. LOL. Your new book looks interesting!!! Brigita #122
Your floor desk looks busy and it’s a good idea to have machines accessible, hooked up and ready to go, otherwise it’s just too much bother and they become under-utilised which is such a shame. Happy WOYWW and have a great week. Elizabeth x #113
I sometimes put things on the floor in arm’s reach from my table. I’m at the point (again) where I feel as though my crafts are taking over my home and I need to downsize. I don’t make that many cards so I’m wondering if I should go through my stamps and do a cleanout….. oh, but I miss them (yes, this has happened before).
Thanks for visiting me already! You are so sweet.
Happy WOYWW

The only problem with tidying up is you can’t find anything. I bet you know where everything is at the moment, lol

LOL @ you working on the floor as well as the desk! Lovely work from you and on your blog, as usual – lots of inspiration….
Thanks for stopping by – was good to see you on Saturday and catch up.
The space looks like a crafter works there! I am going to google that book photo jojo! on your desk hopefully that will be my new name when I get a SLR camera
Hey you think your place is bad, you want to see mine, I live in a sheltered housing 1 bedroom flat which I`m sure they didn`t expect people like me to rent, it`s the kind of place where all you should do is twiddle your thumbs & wait for God!!
I have boxes in the middle of my livingroom floor, every available space is taken up with crafting tools & machines, my bedroom is pretty much the same & I use the kitchenette as a place to do my die cutting, I have an overflow of crafting stuff in my passage way, I even have a box of cd roms tucked into a corner beside the front door, I have given some things away to try & make some room to get moved easier.
