Scrap Cards

I made good progress on my cards.  Thought I would share.

I have a couple of packs of plain white card blanks in 5 x 7 and 5 x 5 inch sizes so figured I’d make use of them for this. Made use of some already-cut and already-punched bits where I could!

LOTS of circles!

I went for common sentiments, useful ones like Just a Note, Thinking of You,  Thank You and Happy Birthday.  Those are the sorts of cards I like to have a stash of – things like Valentines Day or Father’s day etc. I tend to make FOR the day and don’t need more than a couple of them ever.

If I could, I used the bits as-is – so the strips were scraps that were strips, many of the circles or scallops where I had maybe punched a couple of colour choices and decided not to use those,  and most of the border punched bits might have been where I punched a long strip and use only a bit of it.

I still have at LEAST 10 more paper and card groups set aside so will finish those up. Now, I have to see if Blogger is behaving a bit better so I can get back to my WOYWW commenting before DS gets home!

Excellent job! I am SO impressed with you!! Your cards don’t even look like they were made (or ‘forced together’) from bits and pieces – well done! :)
