Scrappy cardmaking

Today is the big Sponsor Blog Hop on UKScrappers. A few of them have run in to problems with their scheduled posts.  I noticed a few missing at 00:01 last night and most all of them still missing at 5:15 AM.  By now, most of them have sorted things,  If you fancy having a go, pop over to UKS.  The list of participants is in the banner.  You can click along and see all the projects.  If you are a UKS member, you can complete the hop and enter in the forum thread for the juicy prize draw (you can see the list of goodies in the banner) Lots of the blogs are offering things as well, like a discount on shopping, or a prize drawn from just their commenters.

Because of all that, this is a bit brief.

I am trying to tackle my scraps once again, by making a load of cards.  My pile of scraps is overflowing.

I made one.  Took this pile of scraps …

and made this card:

but I have thought that I can streamline the process by sorting thru the scraps and making something like “kits” so will be working on that when I can. And the state of my desk?  OMG.  That needs sorting before WOYWW!

Such a great idea! I forget I have scraps so thanks for reminding me to use them. Such a cute pin wheel. Great job!

Love this card. I have Pizza box type boxes for my scraps and have them colour co-ordinated as in red/pink/purple, yellow/orange and blue/green black/white/brown. Same as for cardstock. The system works really well especially when you just want a little bit of a certain colour to finish a project, saves having to rifle through lots of stuff. However, don’t get me wrong I am not a very organised/tidy person, sometimes I can’t find a spot on my workspace to work on for all the stuff on it. LOL
